My strips tend to be pretty wordy and so it's hard to squeeze them into four panels. That's part of the reason that the previous strip had 5 panels - I was trying to work in more delinated actions than a regular 4-panel strip would allow. And then you hit the final panel with only the Lord Chancellor apologizing?
