Read: ArtPatient review of The Crown Prince
February 23rd, 2009Thanks to Delos for the kind words over at Artpatient.com. He has posted (in what appears to be a cool little site that you should all go check out immediately) what I consider to be a well-balanced and thoughtful review of The Crown Prince.
In his review, he makes a suggestion that I offer some kind of reward (perhaps a wallpaper) for anyone submitting a certain number of strips via Ohnorobot (click on the “Transcribe this comic” button to find out more). Anybody have any thoughts on that? I’ve been eager to get the database populated but just haven’t found the time to do it myself.

I just wanted to chime in and say I meant to speak in general terms about rewarding Oh No Robot volunteers - I didn’t mean The Crown Prince specifically and I’ll have to make a note about that. I’ve seen lots of sites with unfinished transcripting, so I more-or-less wondered out loud about rewarding them somehow. I have some farfetched ideas sometimes
and I’d hate to come across like I’m pushing something on anyone else’s comic.

Delos: Hey, no problem at all. I don’t think your idea was farfetched at all and it could possibly work. All I need now is to find the time to come up with a wallpaper. I’m thinking of a battle scene…
