154 - The Most Reliable of Escape Plans

Speaking of the toys, anybody care to suggest some possible answers to the question that’s been asked in the comments for strip #153?

The question was: “I got a question…how did the toys came to life???”

When I was a kid, there was a period of time when I was absolutely convinced that my toys came to life whenever I wasn’t around. After all, when I was playing with them they had personalities, likes, dislikes, friendships, etc. it just seemed normal to me that this went on even when I wasn’t there.

So I guess it seems pretty normal to me that the prince’s toys have a life of their own!

Well put, Jill. What you describe is similar to the relationship described in Calvin and Hobbes - he imagines his toy to be real, therefore he is real!

    Great expressions on the hippo.

Jill…What you said kinda reminds me of Disney Toy Story…
