   Never saw Cool Hand Luke so I missed the reference. Still, I liked the comic. “That’s right. A night in the box!”
   I can just hear the way the hippo says it, with a tinge of villainy and foreboding.

   Here is the full quote from the film, as taken from imdb.com:
   “Them clothes got laundry numbers on them. You remember your number and always wear the ones that has your number. Any man forgets his number spends a night in the box. These here spoons you keep with you. Any man loses his spoon spends a night in the box. There’s no playing grab-ass or fighting in the building. You got a grudge against another man, you fight him Saturday afternoon. Any man playing grab-ass or fighting in the building spends a night in the box.    great strip JG! This is probably the only strip I read that actually updates on time every week!
   I used to play in the box more than play with the actual toy myself when I was little.

   …eventually… still coming up with ideas right now… I’ll let you know when I have things figured out.

   oh and about the toys, I figure that the purple guy with the pointy hat is actually a wizard and he secretly made them talk. To what purpose only he knows.

    the “is” was supposed to be in italics…whoops! whatever it was only until after I wrote the comment that I found out that other people already wrote about the wizard theory. oops again. great strip JG again!
