Man.  I don’t know if I’ve ever had more trouble finishing a comic strip than I did with this particular episode.  I had this idea for this strip about two years ago and it seemed to make such complete sense that I knew it would happen at some point.  Somehow, I had to have the King meet the Dragon (yeah, that whole Dragon Story arc) and there had to be some reason (the birthday) to have the Crown Prince receive a gift in a cardboard box.

But the punchline!  I bounced it around a lot, got some feedback from Craig and Fiona and I am still not positive that it works.  So, this week, we’re going to do something new: if you have a better punchline (and I’m sure there is a perfect one out there, waiting to be discovered), drop it in the Comments below.

P.S. After reading MobiusZero’s comment on strip #151, I decided to add the Knight’s catchphrase to this strip.  Give credit where credit is due.
